Order Process

At Timbers Oasis, we make buying timber simple, transparent, and reliable. Whether you are a local contractor or an international importer, our streamlined order process ensures your requirements are met with precision and efficiency.

Step 1 – Inquiry & Product Selection

  • Browse our Product Catalog or contact our sales team for recommendations.
  • Provide details of your requirements:
    • Timber species
    • Grade & treatment (KD, HT, PT, etc.)
    • Dimensions (length, width, thickness)
    • Quantity (m³, pieces, or weight)
    • Intended use (construction, furniture, export, etc.)
  • Our team will assist with technical advice and confirm availability.

Step 2 – Quotation

  • We will prepare a detailed quotation including:
    • Product specifications
    • Unit price & total cost
    • Delivery/shipping cost (if applicable)
    • Lead time & availability
    • Payment terms
  • Quotations are valid for a specific period due to market price fluctuations.

Step 3 – Order Confirmation

  • Review the quotation and confirm your order in writing (email or online form).
  • Provide company details or personal identification for invoice preparation.
  • A proforma invoice will be issued for payment processing.

Step 4 – Payment

  • Payment methods available:
    • Bank transfer (local & international)
    • Credit card or online payment gateway (if supported)
    • Cash payment for local pickups (where allowed)
  • Payment terms:
    • Local Orders: 100% payment before delivery (or deposit + balance before release).
    • Export Orders: Typically, 30 – 50% deposit, balance before shipping or via LC (Letter of Credit).

Step 5 – Processing & Quality Check

  • Your timber is prepared according to specifications.
  • Products undergo quality inspection to ensure grading, moisture content, and treatment match the order.
  • Additional services (cutting, planning, packaging) are completed at this stage.

Step 6 – Delivery or Pickup

  • Local Orders: Delivered to your site or available for pickup from our warehouse.
  • International Orders:
    • Packaging according to ISPM 15 export regulations.
    • Loading into containers with protective wrapping.
    • Coordination with shipping agents for sea or air freight.
    • You will receive tracking updates and estimated arrival notifications.

Step 7 – Documentation & Handover

  • BL: Bill Of Lading
  • CI: Commercial Invoice
  • PL: Packing List
  • CO: Certificate Of Origin
  • PC: Phytosanitary Certificate (for raw timber)
  • FSC® / PEFC™ Certificates (if applicable)
  • Certificates (Heat Treatment, Fumigation, etc.)
  • Any additional compliance documents required by destination country

Step 8 – Packaging & Protection

  • Wood is packed in bundled stacks, pallets, or crates, depending on the form (lumber, boards, sheets).
  • Moisture-sensitive and high-grade wood is protected with plastic wrapping, end-sealants, or anti-mold treatment when required.
  • All packaging is export-compliant and prepared to withstand long-distance transport.

Step 9 – Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are based on volume, destination, and mode of transport.
  • You may choose between FOB, CIF, or Door-to-Door services.
  • Shipping quotes are provided with every order estimate.

Step 10 – Damaged or Delayed Shipments

  • All shipments are insured unless stated otherwise.
  • In case of damage or loss during transit, please report within 3 working days with supporting photos and documents.
  • We work quickly to resolve claims and ensure replacements or refunds where applicable.
  • Force Majeure: Timbers Oasis is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill orders caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, strikes, or customs delays.
